Hot Hot Heat

I like the heat and going to the beach, but this is perhaps too hot.

Update: One of those nights last night where it was 21 degrees outside at 1:00am and 25 degrees inside. Then at 8:30 this morning, neither had changed.

Hi Jer,
Well you beat Winnipeg right now, we are just at 30C to 35C, but check the Phoenix weather, alghough it is in F, it is unbelievable, I check it frequently and I don't think there has been a day below 101F in the last two weeks, but it's a dry heat, right.....

That's not a contest I'd like to win! That said, we were at the beach in the late afternoon and evening today and it was glorious -- then over to a friend's place in the country and it was still warm and calm after dark around the campfire. Warm summer nights -- can't really complain.

What was that? Can't hear anything with this fan blowing full power 2 inches beside my head. Life Rule#1: Never get knocked up in November. Ivy was an August baby too, yes?

She was due in July anyway. She arrived after two weeks of 30+ in June. I hated elastic so much I ended up wearing an old lady sleeveless nightgown from value village most of the time. To Jer's credit he never made fun of that. As good tempered as I usually am, he knew better than to make fun of a hot, heavy, tired 8 and a half months pregnant Tannis. On the other hand, the cool lake was heavenly and we spent a lot of time at the beach.
