Scenery and Photogeekery

Not everyone is into photos of weeds, the most common birds and driftwood, and I had 50 photos sitting in Flickr that I haven't put up here lately...so I dumped a bunch into one post for the odd duck who likes this stuff (that'd be me):

Some great macro shots Jer! Glad to hear you've had some epic rides yourself despite your work schedule... I have a couple more weeks of intense marking but I've managed to put in a few kms which I've really enjoyed. I haven't had the time I'd like to do any photography - the crocus flowers are blooming now in the Sandilands and our trees are just beginning to bud. Seems like a slow spring but the weather has been gorgeous.

Thanks, Garth. My camera has some limitations, but one of its strengths is very close macros -- better than any point-n-shoot I've ever seen. I'm still learning how to do them properly.

It's all the more important to get out riding when you're busy at work, isn't it? I need to, or I get grouchy and atrophied. Glad to hear that the weather has turned and you're getting out there. Would love to see those crocuses blooming...
