Bro

Ryan must be halfway to 70 today. Although we haven't been close for a few years, I think of our childhood often -- growing up in the boonies of southern Manitoba, we did everything together, depending on each other for fun and friendship. We fought like mad, too, but always seemed to patch things up again. Happy birthday, little brother.

Half way to 70 - what a way to think about it!

For some reason I see a major resemblance between him and Derek & Joel in this shot. Bizarre.

Happy birthday Ryan.

Maybe no so bizarre...lots of shared genes there. They're good-looking guys, too, so it's a compliment.

Since I do not have his e-mail address, I will relay this through yours, HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN, can't believe it's that long since you guys were just little ones in Ile des Chenes.

thought i'd drop by on a whim. i share your sentiments about work. i'm a spare bus driver in vernon and they've been calling me in steady for these 12 hr shifts. its a little depressing because i haven't been able to get my camera out etc. etc. oh, thanks for the tip on barry phillips, i sat there completely entranced as i listened to it all. i've been trying to find music like that but don't know where to go. the parliament channel sometimes has this type of stuff so often i have it on while i read. you probably have more ideas? (cello, base viola etc). let me know how your book turned out............
