I'm nearly a month late, but thought I should commemorate the fact that our eldest is nine years old. She had a wonderful wizard-themed birthday party with two close friends (and potions!) and several secondary celebrations (multiple cakes!) with family and other friends. What to say about this complex, intense, cerebral nine-year-old? I'd need to write a book about her. We love her so much, and hope this year is her best ever.
What a genuinely lovely, lovely daughter you have in Ivy ... wise beyond her years (I just loved her comment about why she performed violin) and just refreshingly beautiful inside and out. You and Tannnis have done well. A. Carol
